This is really giving me the headache...It depends on the interpretation of the frontal mask.
If we take upper pot for example...
Signal comes in to both left front and left rear ics, wiper is pulling one or another to the gnd... this I understand as a fader. Unless wiper pulls both extremes to the gnd at the same position. Then it would make sense to me.
Yep, looks like fader. Then something was modified here. This is how some of the German manufacturers use the fader/balance markings. This is from a Blaupunkt New York SQR 05. Notice that the volume uses the same basic symbol.
What do you believe was modified?
There is only left/right input. The fader allows the front or rear to be shunted to ground which would make the other output front/rear to seem/become louder.
Are you going to use 4 pins on the DIN for output?

Fader is acting like a balance control, it looks like that someone swapped the inputs for the power ICs.What do you believe was modified?

I'm going to use only L/R outputs, I don't need F/R separation.
So 2 outputs.
Edit:
@Osvaldo de Banfield @Perry Babin
Sorry to you both, it does act like a fader.
I messed up big time and made the confusion.
I don't know what I was looking.
But can I turn it into balance control and use it at the outout, or would that mess up the ew parameters.
I figured as pot is already there, it would be nice if it has a function.

Well in my case it doesn't, it's diy unit with android tablet, dab+ and usb via otg, custom launcher design so the graphics fall into 80s era... arduino to turn on / off screen when it senses ACC and volume buttons wired into center console. The pot is something that can become noisy/intermittent. The head unit already has a balance.
Honestly 4558 NE5532 and TL072 are the only ones I had compared jet.Whichever you have at hand. I prefeer JFET or MOSFET deveces always over BJT. But a personal taste only.
I'm wondering what is the reason for 47R R9 resistor dropping down the voltage to 12.7v for eq and preamp section. I'm not sure about the eq section, but I don't see a reason why I would not bypass that for preamp ics.
This is for decoupling the line. Not only dropping voltage, the main interest is to separate the audio paths.
