A couple of pics of my build with the James "O" core fitted. Many thanks to Oliver; Alan and Craig for this excellent phono stage which has enhanced my vinyl listening pleasure with it's dynamics and soundstage.

Looks good. The yellow braid is a nice touch.

Does the transformer meet your expectations? Is there a discernible "O" core advantage?

I need to do some more listening but first impressions are favourable. It meets specification re voltages and is very quiet and professionally finished and despite having to ship from China was cheaper than my UK sourced toroidal.

Resistors

Patrick, the only resistors in the build that need to be 0.5W are R9P and R10P.
This is to keep a 200% rating for the actual power dissipated which is good engineering practice.
As these are only supply filtering they don't need to be 0.1%, in fact 2% is fine.
If you fitted 0.4W resistors on long legs, i.e. with a gap underneath to assist in cooling then that would be fine.

Any other resistor is good at 0.4W.

Hello. i think this is for Vivant.
I have now measured the voltages of the tube holders.V2 There are 6N2P and the jumper is in this position.V1 and V2 are 6N23P. currents are measured from 1 to 9
the results are.
V1 : 73 : 0 : 1.49 : 59.3 : 52 : 81.1 : 0 : 1.8 : 0
V2 :117.2 :-4.3To-1.2mV : 0.8 : 58.3 : 52.5 : 115 : -4.6To-0.8mV : 0.8 : 52.1
V3 : 209 : 114.8 : 120.6 : 59.4 : 52.5 : 209.8 : 112.7 : 118.4 : 0
HV is 167 ac LV is 17.7 ac
Where is the fault. or is there a fault anywhere. :)

For Oli
The BOM I'm using on google drive has a message saying "This item is in the owner's trash" and will be automatically deleted in 30 days. I assume you are the owner, and I'm unable to save it.
Is there a new version?
This is the link

Yes, I have deleted it as I needed to make some changes to it.

Send me an email address and I'll forward the most recent revision.
