Fiddly more than hard. You need to use plenty of pressure to make sure it sticks to the metal before carefully peeling back the covering but they do supply the applicator tool.

I ordered 6N2P-EV Reflector from 1960s with silver grid. I have a few ECC83/12AX7 (TFK, Mullard, Philips, TAD 7025 etc). Curious to hear the difference.

Just a quick note re the R-Core transformers from China.
Firstly the good news.

It was mentioned earlier in this thread that shipping from Ebay seller along1986090 has become very slow. I ordered from this seller, and it arrived very quickly, within two weeks.
Now the bad news
The voltages are all over the place, the 165 is measuring around 210, and one 9.5 is 11.75, the other 8.6.
I'm now going to Tiger Torioids

Regarding transformers, I ordered an o-core at James Transformer yesterday. Price 45 usd shipped to the Netherlands. It takes a week to build and ship, don't know shipping time. I'll measure and report when it arrives.
