A good friend of mine just gave me some oil for air conditioning compressor motor...working down and up the temp scale significantly and having no known reaction to copper.I'm thinking of trying that too...In the end any oil can work pretty well once there's very flat surface contact in between.
Was preparing theese sanken mt200 packages today, they are absolutely original, pulled from a start 90s amp,
I did not believe my eyes, those packages were far from flat, looks looks their warped into the middle were the actual wafer is mounted.
See for yourself, I bet heat transfer has gone up quite a bit.
Instead of only looking for the miracle. Heat paste, make sure surfaces are as flat as possible, especially in high current amplifiers,
