BEHRINGER SRC 2496 opinions kindly requested.

Thanks Steve and Scott for your comforting words. I am running the SRC2496 as standalone upsampler/DAC. For now, I am using the cd63 as a transport.

I am planning to do the following mods:
- build the "Lampizator's" tube output stage.
- regulate important chips separately with lm317, and possibly give them a separate PSU
- upgrade the electrolytics

Hi, studiostevous did you get to try the tube output stage with src2496, if so was the cd63 bettered?

Yes i did, and actually took out the tube stage in favour of a direct out via some obbligato caps.

It actually is my main player now, and the cd63 is used as a transport for it.
