For Power transformer I recommend Toroidy Audiograde, for two trafos 300VA 2x18V I spent 244 euros. Very high quality and good price.Pa is using 300VA as regular thing for stereo PSU in FW
Here in Germany Donaudio wanna have 62 Euro for the high nickel one. How much is it directly from Cinemag? Would a europ. GB make sense?I found it was cheaper to order mine direct from Cinemag
Cheers, Ernst

I'm in the need of Cinemags also. I think that Donaudio gave us some discount code last time when we were ordering signal trafos for M2?
I ordered the Cinemag on don-audio on January 10th ..... I'm still waiting .... I sent e-mail: they told me to have patience .... the factory had problems due to personal illness .. ... what should I expect I do not know🙁

About $30 per unit
About $30 per unit
Plus about $30 for shipping a pair to Germany, plus 19% on top of the total for customs duty (Import VAT).

Hi, so this would mean, not far below the Donaudio price. So they did a good calculation ;-)
As Juntuin mentioned, they might grant some discount on a bigger order. Maybe I ask them what a minimum number for a discount will be.
Just so you know right now there is a 3-4 week lag till they can even get to start making an order
@Fabian85,
I don't know how I can missed that.
@avinunca,
yes but I'm the only one how must every time when i order what from US (or other) must go to the customs.
This takes me min one hour one way and then the time the to wait + the fees.
That certainly shifts the balance. Don't carriers in Germany sort out the customs then?
By the way I paid $94.33 for a pair of high nickel trannies plus VAT plus carrier customs handling.
I've seen folks ordering the cinemag transformers here, by calling, email, etc. I know there will be a wait, what's easiest most successful way to order these? I need to get in pipeline for them! Im in USA....

I found it best to call Cinemag. Very helpful guy took the call and sorted the order.
Thanks. I dont suppose there is any feedback on "regular" vs High nickle version? I am inclined to go with "regular" unless availability or sonics provide a reason?

being local , so less hassle than for us Greedy Overseas Boyz , just pay few more greenies for HiNi and call it done
or we can ask Pa directly ( his thoughts about LoNi vs. HiNi) , giving him a reason to laugh at least for 5 mins

@ avinunca,
Yes it is possible but they take also some fees (25€) ....That certainly shifts the balance. Don't carriers in Germany sort out the customs then?

All quiet. With Zenmod having sent out all the kits now, there is building going on out there.....very quietly. I still need a chassis!
