First impressions - negative phase sounds to me a bit softer, less energy in bass,
I kept turning volume up, positive phase a bit more shouty, better presence,
stronger bass. Need to listen to it more...
Consistent with my experience and most people I have talked to about it.
After some more listening I think in my setup with M2 I prefer positive phase second harmonic - it adds a bit of sharpness and presence I was missing. It also sounds very good at low volume levels.
This preamp is a brilliant tool for adjusting sound according to preference. I learned a lot by playing with it. It makes much bigger difference than P3 pot on BA-3 front end.

Could you describe the type of speakers used during your evaluation in a bit more detail; 2way bookshelf, 3way, woofer assisted wideband or other? After some more listening ...
Will a pcb be available in future?
Maybe, but why are you waiting for it?
This is a relatively simple circuit, you can solder it on a proto board like this:
3pcs MK-6 10CM X 22CM Prototyping PCB Printed Circuit Board Prototype Breadboard Sale - Banggood.com
or this for smaller projects:
Geekcreit(R) 40pcs FR-4 2.54mm Double Side Prototype PCB Printed Circuit Board Sale - Banggood.com

Audio Note AN-E
Thank you, looks real nice.
Thanks. My speakers sound quite polite with M2, adding negative phase second harmonic makes them even more polite. Positive phase second harmonic adds a little bite, makes everything sounds more real, similarly to my 300B SET. But that's just my opinion with M2 and Audio Note speakers, I may prefer negative phase second harmonic in different setup.
Just a reminder, since the total phase of B1 KORG and M2 is inverting, a listening session with inverted speaker polarity for correct absolute phase is advisable..... But that's just my opinion with M2 and Audio Note speakers, I may prefer negative phase second harmonic in different setup.

Yes, I flipped the speaker polarity.
M2 isnt inverting! Has someone compared it to a dht line stage, I mean soundwise? I mean the 6P1?🙂

Update.
I spent some more time with the DIY artwork.
I think I can release a DIY board design shortly.
