A few month's ago I have not accepted Your gift and one more time I decline the offer.
Me waiting for the official B1 Triode version and support the forum shop Team or I make my own at home.
Anyways JP is pleasant proposition and I think we can do better and ask by PM fellow Diyer Samuel
B1 with Korg Triode
if he need some free little gift of electronic stuff or pcbs to compensate for damaged components.
What You think Gentleman that could be nice happy ending of the story?
Thanks again and best regards 🙂
No answer to my question ?
Greetings 🙂
@Soundhappy
Boards coming thursday. Parts waiting to be ordered then printed board assembly testing and reporting.
If design fine so I´ll thinking about your proposal but sure, 4 boards left, I´ll do a FIFO PCB tombola.

Nothing for me personally.
Do You contact member Samuel and gently ask him

In another thread Your new published eagle version schematic have CCS resistor value errors
= not the same H2 & H3 sound at the output. Take care.
Thanks 🙂
@ JPS64
It's me to do your pcb business verification job ? 😕
50w Single-Ended BAF2015 Schade Enabled
Official CCS schematic = 2x 0.2R not 2x 0.33R
Let's back to build B1Triode topic

Keep in mind that Pete Millet has an evaluation board on ebay for $100.
🙂
I kind of prefer to wait for the Pass variant. I know it will be high quality and well supported here. No disrespect to Pete Millet, simply my preference of a choice between the two. Just hope the wait isn't long.
Ok, just got my ACA kit. Thanks. Now I just need B1with Kong parts kit. Hoping to combine and build hybrid amplifier.
The Korg Nutubes may disappear in a few years, but apparently these 6148s are already unobtanium in case you ever need a replacement. And it is $570, although has a combined amplifier and bluetooth and dac....

As you may already know, it is possible to apply Nelson circuit to that PCB.
2SK370 legs are thin enough to go into the holes of the follower resistor.
I did it and it worked fine. 🙂
Other parts are ... almost the same or you can change easily, except for the heater circuit which I think is not the day and night difference.

Interesting. (but still waiting - patiently - for Pass B1 with Korg kit)
Is there a rough status on the officiel kit?
Will it be this year or maybe start of next year?
How much will be included in the kit?
Possible to preorder?
I have no hurry as I have the BA-3 pre PCB and all components for it. But still interested in the Korg kit.
I just noticed that BA-3 pre PCB is sold out now so happy I got a couple of them.

Very nice Chul!
I have Pete's PCBs as well and have been thinking about doing something
similar.
Cheers,
Dennis
Go ahead Dennis. I like the sound and I am planning to use LDR volume and LR phono in one case.. 🙂
Hello,
I apologize in advance for a non adequaque level in electronics to do my homework, but I dare asking. Would there be some possible "simple extrapolation" to use this B1 Korg triode between a balanced output DAC and balanced input amp ? The intention would be to use it in the context of a project quite away from NP philosophy: include this between the integrated DAC and Amp of a TI TAS3251
Best regards,
JMF
