If you wan't more bass then do the super regulator/follower mod in addition to the more capacitance mods. You might want to change the 7x05 regulators to something with much lower Zout too if you eliminate the stock series resistor config to instead a superreg.
Thanks for the reply, Spikestabber.
I will go for Salas Ultra BiB regulator later for comparison.
Also my friend clarified his experience with the polymer caps - he did not hear any difference before and after adding the 12 polymer caps. I will try 1000uf/16V or even higher for mine.(I bought the 331uF/16V)
audiozen,
Thanks for the answer. I appreciate it.
I read about a dual mono balanced Dam1021 board before in this thread. Is it gonna to be available soon? just curious.
It is dual dam1121. Now I am waiting for the new firmware of dam1121.The cost of this kit is too high, it will only share 10 pcs.

I would think it would be more economical at this point to go with the new dam1941 and the AZ-lite kit. Way more bang for your buck, just add +/-5V PSU for the dam1941. Soren mentioned in another thread that it is basically the advancement of the dam1121 and the 1941 will match the 1121.

You are right, so AZ kits for dam1121 has not been released. DAM1941 is a complete solution.

IMO, in the long term the dam19x1 will replace both the dam1021 and dam1121.

Dam19x1 maybe also need better displays, buff and PSU.😀

A nice UI would be perfect for me, I do need neither a buffer nor a PSU.

Yes it do, I'm just providing a basic set, although it will meet many users needs....

Hi Soren,
Will dam19X1 retain external control interfaces just like dam1x21? When do you release the PDF of dam19x1?

Yes, you will be able to control everything over the serial port. Full docs will be ready soon.

Hi Leon,
being new to the party, I have a question:
How does the Lite version control the Soekris board?
I can not see a connection between both.
Thanks
Matt

@Matt,
Please see the PDF of AZ lite,
Pin 3 Pin4
GND ISO GND.
Pin 5 RX Serials ISO RX with isolated, connect to dam1021 ISO TXD OUT.
Pin 6 TX Serials ISO TX with isolated, connect to dam1021 ISO RXD IN.
The same as dam1121.

Thanks Soren,
That means that AZ lite can be used to control dam19x1.😀
BTY,When will the new firmware of dam1121 be released?
I just finished installing AZ lite.
I tried different 3 remotes to learn buttons (not ATV remotes),
but when done, it is duplicating actions. (like volume pushed twice, input switch twice, but only once pushed...)
Any idea how this can be resolved?

Thank you!
If AZ or AZ lite (or even soren with 1921/1941) comes out earlier, maybe will be different 😀
