Do I have to remove the board to program the firmware or can it be programmed while seated in your board. Is the non-isolated serial ports accessible to program firmware?
The TTL interface is reserved. With a TTL to DB9 adapter, you can upgrade 1121 firmware.

5V (red) from the computer USB was cut off and replaced the linear power supply on SK. 3.3V does not need to care, SK will power to dam1021.
