i'm new here but i watching this threat and i think maybe we can make a community-in poland (not only there) where i live ppl on forums making together some projects and its normal
my motto is - dont leave tube-lover alone making ongaku clone 🙂🙂
tube-lover can you introduce entry costs of this project?
i think for further problems - first: i dont have any idea from where i can take premalloy for transformers, coz tubes and sockets, caps and 90% of other components is not a problem.

this funish one after funish will directly compare to real Ongaku, since this clone was use silver wire for secondary winding.

testing will use 10K OPT to test. coming will 16K.

10K use 0.03mm Ultra HI-B with secondary is 5N monosrystalline wire.

testing is 50H DCR 134 Ohm.

I made a silly decision already. since I would like to clone a real Kondo Ongaku. but...... is the schmatic in internet was real. some people said kondo ongaku added feedback on later version. What is pri Henry, DCR, capacitance, leakage of the kondo OPT.
so..... how about the Sec??? mH!!!! DCR!!! DCR will effect large on damping for the voice coil of speaker!

so....... I bought my friend's Ongaku for reference. I will post inner photos of Ongaku later for reference. But so..... small secret I will keep it but I really like to know schmatic in internet was real or not!

yes, tunning sound quality must comapre two amp same time, if only copy or clone the circuit but not compare the sound quality of original.

This is not real clone.

hope U will agree.

Now I worry about that the original Kondo caps. I must use different brand of silver foil caps to clone.

most lucky was........ inner transformers of kondo tube amp was OEM by Tango ISO.

Hi Thomas,

I am ordering copper plates pretty soon for some other projects I am working on and would like to do one for this at the same time. Could you post dimensions for the top plate of the original ongaku? I am particularly interested in thickness of the plate and width/length. Also if you don't mind posting (or sending) a dimensioned cad drawing for the holes, otherwise I have to guess! ;p Keep up the good work, looking forward to hearing your transformers at work!
