What about this one?
Moving the 1k to the centre of the board?

Thanks, Brett. Your drawing really helps!
I will redraw mine based on your comments.

By the way, I am thinking to make the wires of V+ and V- as short as possible from the PSU supply points. That was why I wanted to have the V+/- in one place near to the PSU supply points, as shown on the original board. . .

Anyhow, I will re-draw mine based on your comments and will post it.

Thanks again. . .

Thanks, Brett.
I will consider making the roads carrying heavy current thicker
when I produce the actual PCB.

By the way, here I attach the final drawings of PSU diagram, PSU PCB, and AMP PCB. . .(hoping no misprint. . .)

🙂

Do you etch your boards or cut and pull the copper off?

How do you transpose the drawing onto the boards?

Pls refer to the photo.

In general, I use copper board and Uni Black Paint (Oil-Base) Marker only. As I will produce just three pieces - PSU, AMP Left and AMP Right - I will do my hand drawing for the etching. I prefer my hand-drawing to any machine-made one. The lines are not straight? Who cares. . .?

The white box is the Ammonium Persulfate. When I bought this, I did not mark anything on it. One day, my wife found this and used her finger to taste if this was salt 😱

Very nice,

Do you use a carbon copy onto the board? And then go over with your pen?
How do you cut the board down to the right side. I was thinking of using a sharp knife and then breaking it, but I'm not sure if this will work.
My power supply is quit simple actually, so that's not too difficult to draw up.
When your have drawn up your amp board and it is the right scale could attach it on here and I'll have a look at it.......maybe I'll give this a go.

You really do get through this very quickly. I work four days in a row, long hours, so I can't get much done on my work days. I'll try to look at this on my next days off.

And of course my liitle boy keeps me busy

Regards

Brett.
