Until 100KHz. I think that is a good solution for an inexistent problem.

considering amount of watts I usually need , I'm waiting for Papa's article about one transistor stereo amp preferably with 2N3055

then I'm heading of to Greedy Boy Retirement , being good with DIY and Graal and 42

But you only want this: a real RCA !!! 2N3055 ( there were no fakes that time) lying in my drawers since 1980, waiting to be sent to the mighty ZM for his one transistor 😀 stereo amp....

Why? I think I read the amps stay to 40 Watt in class A in 4 Ohm.

I recall that they leave Class A at 8 about amps peak, which is about 250 W
peak into 4 ohms, half that rms.

Hi Nelson,

If you don't mind couple questions (reposting from before as they got 'lost'):
- What is the overall gain/sensitivity of this amp?
- Does it need any speaker protection from DC?
- Do Version1 output SITs need to be insulated from the heatsink (since their drains are connected)?
- Can output SITs be of different grade (e.g. KD-33 and KE-33) or the same grade is required?
