Their tracks are the MQA versions, they stream it in FLAC,“compression” is ambiguous.
If you speak of “compression” as used in the loudness war, then you can’t avoid it if it’s in the recording.
If you speak of “compression” as in audio transport formats (e.g., FLAC), then it’s not much of an issue as modern formats employ lossless compression. Although MQA is not lossless.
Also, when you use bluetooth it is compressed more.
There are alternatives where they have the true masters and not some altered versions.

Maybe that's where you started to learn about how to listen at more like a professional level?...when I was young man, I did PA for a while, for live football games, chamber, jazz and bluegrass.
EDIT: I worked mostly in sound reinforcement for a living for 7 years right after college. Sometimes did recording too. Did all sorts of things including setting up the house PA and mixing fairly large concerts and at fairly at major venues. For music it was up to about 10,000 seats. For general PA, maybe as much as for 100,000 people. Also did smaller, more intimate gigs such as symphonic performances that happened to require some reinforcement. One thing I had to do was learn how to listen like the professionals who came before me had to learn how to do.
One sort of highlight was at an acoustic folk music festival at the UC Berkeley Greek Theater, when the MC asked the audience if the sound was okay, they responded with a standing ovation. That response was reported in a concert review article in one of the major SF newspapers (way back before the internet). Only found out about the article from my boss who was impressed. Said he never heard of a sound guy getting a standing ovation before. That said, the outdoor theater had great atmospheric conditions during those festival nights, and I had some new condenser mics designed for reinforcement use which were definitely nicer than the dynamic mics we usually had to use for reliability reasons on-stage (delicate condenser mics couldn't take the abuse).
Anyway, point is I really did have to learn how to listen, so that's what I did.

Just about ANY DG LP and CD from 1980 to 1985.... they used digital recording and the end result sounded like crap.
Here's one... I know... I actually have this box set.... performance is great, sound sucks.
There... it's not my just my opinion... it just sounds shrill...

BTW- you asked for what... a "DG release from another record company".... since when does DG release from "other record companies"? DG is a "record company"... Have you ever heard DG's digital recordings from the early 80s? If not, then kindly go find one or accept the experience of us older folks who have DG products from the time.

FLAC can be used as a transport container for other content, I suppose, including MQA.
I like the possibilities from the Chinese pcb’s to config your own dac by choosing the input board, the dac and the output board and power supplies and even clocks.
With the inputboard you can make the right match with your source. Just changing dac boards let you choose your favorite. And also for the output stage get your favorite sound signature.
To do this you must first learn what you like. I still learning and have a lot of fun after 60 years.

Its the unusual quartal harmony. Chords (and much of melodies) are constructed from fourths, rather than based around thirds. Fun to jam with.I will never understand the appeal.

My version of the Yamamoto Dac (DIY, tube output, simply just one resistor I/V converter, good output coupling caps, Duelund can’t be beat), is the best dac I ever heard for the money… Better than the most expensive Chinese dac… And if you use a more mondane output cap, doesn’t cost that much. It uses two PCM1794 dac IC’s, they are R2R inside.
Btw I have a RME dac/headphone amp and it also sounds excellent…

I listen in the living room of my Southern Californian McMansion. With Italian leather couches and three racks of DIY audio equipment. Currently, mono A2s, BA3B into two bridged F4s, Iron Pre Bal, Sissy SIT, Pearl 2 and Pearl 3. There's a few more things and the speakers are not DIY.
The DAC and its fancy discrete OpAmps were built in China... so were the WiiM Ultra ( used as WiFi/ethernet to USB bridge) and the Chromebook.
My NItsch DAC was designed and made in America... California actually.
I also got more stuff in the home office in a wing of McMansion... the den, the upstairs bedroom, the back bedroom, daughter bedroom, guest bedroom.... but NO music in the bathrooms, except for our fancy Kohlers with their built in bidet seats.
Made in America, our toilets are!

We got two couches in the living AND two more in the den. We also have a nice mid century modern Danish leather chair in the living room (although lately I moved it to my home office).
For two of us, three if you count my daughter....

I also have an RME ADI-2 Pro FS R Black Edition... but I don't use it much. It was part of the plan to record my LPs.
But then I went on a tear with updating my Linn table and all of my previous 24/96 recordings become obsolete overnight.
One of the most obvious issues with early AD/DACs was the shrillness of massed strings when they started to get moderately loud. They become a mass of shrill sounds, it grits my teeth.
This was also, at least in part, due to Von Karajan's impaired hearing. His will was more or less law, which is why, especially on a number of the (later) digital recordings, the strings and brass sections sound quite pronounced and sometimes harsh.
