How did you find that? I bought one ages ago but the pins were too big to fit in the old Philips player I was modding at the time.

It came with a Socket! As the socket were quite simple I purchased another Gold plated high Quality socket. Unfortunately as you mention the pinns were to thick for the Gold plated socket which meant I had to use the ones provided with the NOS Board.
The result is very good.
Enjoy... the Barolo is a better idea than struggeling with HiFi mods 😛
