Well, still having bad luck with he APOX stuff. Ik think the volume board developed a problem (again). It creates a loud humm even when the amp is off. It also turns on my Hypex power-amps one way or another whhile it is only connected through an interlink.
At this point I'm seriously considering to do something bad to the guy who sold me the APOX stuff and said it was working as it should.😡

Took everything apart. The Aleph is still functioning.
Tried the APOX volume and input as a passive attenuator: still hummm
Anyone want to buy my APOX? Maybe you can repair it...

Today the Dantimax boards arrived. Looks great. So let's see if I can finish this project without having the need for serious medication 😛
hello. my pass is now done. and it sounds very good😀 i have a little bit of noise in one channel. it is the volum control, but its a easy fix. i hope

witch resistor set for the volume control did you order?
or is it potmeter your using?
dont use it. you need a 10K resistor set and place the control on the output.
i tryed 1K in the input. but the level was very low up to -7db

I checked with Mikkel and his answer was it should work. He also told me not to forget the load resistors.
I'm going to give it a go. The worst that could happen is I have to de-solder some resistors and put in some new ones.

With the Aleph, you need 1K sets with volume control on the output. This way the output impedance stays relatively 'low'. When you put the volume control on the input (as is done with many other preamps), you want a close match to the input impedance of your preamp.

ehm. this was wrong. 10k on the input. i tryed 1k on the output.
