How about I bring a tenor singer with. Then we record him and try a couple of amps and speakers to see how that compares to the real thing?Oh, and ideas on particular listening tests you would like, so I can start organising those.
Not sure I can bring him..so it's just a thought at the moment.
I'd like to return to midget tossing for a moment:

And maybe we can book this guy?:

Interesting thought. I have a little mixer, and can probably blag a couple of decent mics for a crossed pair.
Re: I just know this will seem boring
Hopefully, one of the fully modded CD63/67 will be brought along.

I'd like a go at tossing Al like that*.
I can understand why it's forbidden in France, probably why they enjoy watching Obelix do it so many times.
How about Frog tossing ?

Interesting idea Bas. There are a few things we could do with an actual cooperative musician around. Live versus recorded, sure, but how about live mike feed vs, mike feed run through an A/D and D/A, or similar fun?
Sure...why not. If someone knows how to do that kind of thing... 🙂There are a few things we could do with an actual cooperative musician around. Live versus recorded, sure, but how about live mike feed vs, mike feed run through an A/D and D/A, or similar fun?
On a different note. Just want all the attendees to know:
Please bring your Kraftwerk CD's and or records. Stuart Yaniger absolutely LOVES Kraftwerk. In fact why don't we make them the official test CD/record of the meet?

I have "Autobahn" in the original blue/white cover.
I believe you're particularly fond of the 1985 cover version of Kraftwerk's "The Model" by the Tallis Scholars?
"Beretta AL391"? Nah, if it's not in the Great Rock Discography, it's nothing, man. Must be just another of those West Coast surf bands.

The CD or the LP?
Either. I'm good, the spread of pellets is fairly narrow for the gauge, and the satisfaction level is equal for both formats.
SY,
for some obscure reason i seem to have the sudden urge to start calling you daddy.
If only you did not resemble Grigori Raspoetin so much.

I could bring you a teenage duo called 'In Between', guitar and bass, plus both sing - they don't currently have a drummer though (which is probably a good thing!).
Have a look at their site here - site nothing to do with me, they do it themselves. Melissa the bass player plays keyboards and flute as well if required.
Aah...locals ...that would be even better...I could bring you a teenage duo called 'In Between', guitar and bass, plus both sing
