Smashing locations for those with a desire to test their sanity.
(Iceland is also a great destination for barfing muesli and freeze dried nutrition)

I took my sons hiking in Iceland in the Summer of 2006 - The
food could be interesting but the scenery was majestic
HUGELY expensive, but great fun.
(they also had "puffin on a stick" )

I actually quite like coming over the bridge southbound, it's paying money to go north in that dingy tunnel I object to. What southern centred psychological programming is going on there I wonder?

Oddly, I worked in Singapore for a year or so, and absolutely love the food (malay, nonya, thai, indonesian etc. etc.)
Just back from Hong Kong where we have just opened an office (2 weeks ago) - taken to several "private dining clubs" - food absolutely amazing - great experience.
Getting slightly on topic - I was hunting for tubes/valves in HK and started a thread about this in the Tubes forum, but I didn't have a lot of luck, even though one of my HK Chinese colleages out there is a tube-ophile and took me to all the secret little workshops around HK & NT.

I may have made a mistake here - I though "Langvia" was puffin, but it seems to be guillemot.
So, there you are, Guillemot Kebab

I lived in Singapore and Indonesia for 5 years.
Agreed the food is great.
(Mixed chicken satay is head, feet intestine on a stick - no meat as such.)
The worst I've eaten was camel in Egypt.
Iguana was very good - almost like chickecn.

Hi John,
I'll have my CD63KI with huge mods and I hope to have redone my preamp (possibly good for 'phones too!)
I'm kinda easy with the time, July was fine last year (was it July?)

I took my kumisa III headphone amp(and Marantz CD63SE) last time and will have a millet max next time (and Roksan Kandy).
John
P.S If its near school holidays then I will be missing it!!!
Hey John,
I've got a pair of AKG K701's that I'd love to hear on the end of those. Only just recently got into headphones but they're pretty stunning with the very modest kit I have at the moment.
