Fantastic! I've not been to the west yet, but might hike from one side to the other over 2 days, with a wild camp inbetween. The west looks extremely remote, with very few roads and towns!

Just back from Hong Kong where we have just opened an office (2 weeks ago) - taken to several "private dining clubs" - food absolutely amazing - great experience.
Getting slightly on topic - I was hunting for tubes/valves in HK and started a thread about this in the Tubes forum, but I didn't have a lot of luck, even though one of my HK Chinese colleages out there is a tube-ophile and took me to all the secret little workshops around HK & NT.

Whilst idling away the Xmas holidays my thoughts have turned to 2008 and what may be instore.

How about a week or two before or after "Burning Amp 2008" so that long distance visitors can swing by to attend this one also ?
