its like everywhere i see ports/flares that are only 75mm/100mm in diameter....I'm looking for something like 5"..preferably 6" diameter

For 5 or 6 inch plastic pipe, you'll probably have to try a plumbing supply company like "Reece Plumbing."

As far as I can tell the only place on the planet that has 6" flares is Lightning Audio in California.

Yep you can do that just dont put on the 'feet' that would otherwise have kept the cone off the floor....

The SPL and frequency response wont be quite the same .... I dont mean to imply that this is a bad thing .... just pointing out that they will be different to those in the datasheet.

Also... spike the bottom..... and remember .... 3 spikes are easier to level than 4.

hey guys, just an update, i have taken delivery of the amp and am awaiting acoustic concepts to re-open after the new yr. the construction of the box starts tomora and all should be done within a few days.
