I bought a Casio all singing/dancing titanium/sapphire/solar powered/radio controlled watch. It's my second one. Not a Tag or a Rolex but I like them.
I had the previous one for about 12 years and I do beat the crap out of them. It needed an internal clean and since the watch is intended for sale mainly in the Japanese market there was no one who was competent to perform the task (by their own admission) and it looked like it was going to run 200.00-250.00 CAD if I were to ship it off somewhere so I just bought another one.

I wouldn't like to drive the original 500cc version but this is about the size of a 70s mini so shouldn't be too bad. I love the dash, very chic.WE hired one when driving round Sicily some years ago. A cool car - when I fastened the seat belt it could have worked as a backpack ...
Electric impact drill, 10 mm, variable speed, reversible, 550W, US$27 or so.
Flea market was crowded today, only a cell phone charger, 25 cents, and a USB data cable, 12 cents. Yet to check if working or not.
There was some signal generator, half round dial, did not ask. Will see next Friday.
And a Facit manual desktop typewriter, asking almost $20, too much. Again, next week...it is held every Friday.

I bought a story, which could ultimately turn into a romance if this isn't actually a catfish. A very pretty French girl has fallen in love with me and wants to start a relationship. The fact that she doesn't speak English, lives in the Languedoc region and is young enough to be my granddaughter doesn't seem to faze her at all.
Ah, the French. Totally impractical but you can't help loving them.

You guys are hilarious. Given that I'm stupid enough to go for this (I'm not) I would need to fly over there and meet her in person, then apply for a Prospective Marriage Visa (AU$8,085) and wait up to two years for approval. Then, if I'm not dead yet I get to pay her airfare and support her for 9-15 months and, if nothing goes horrendously wrong, actually get married. Then my pension is reduced by AU$220 a fortnight, meaning that she will have to work, but there aren't a lot of jobs for Francophones in country New South Wales, especially those whose highest skill is "checkout chick."
It's a genuine bargain, but do I really need p*ssy that much at the age of 69? LOL

Well I did a Google image search and ascertained that the photos were from a French soft porn website. Nice fantasy while it lasted.
Took the family to the county fair today, spent $140+ on tickets and greasy food.
A nice break from spending time and money on a motorhome project however.

That French girl was a hook, the persons operating that scam were usually 419 scammers from Africa, or dark web scammers from Eastern Europe, their language was typical.
Typically they used Iberian / Italian IP addresses, and spoofing / further interlocks, the actual IP was not the relay IP.
Again, all of you, be careful.

Yesterday was interesting, 1st time I bought something from true electronics recyclers in town (their building is mere feet from a metal recycling yard, so I think I can guess what their business model is). An old dual-WAN router for a whopping $12.50 to test out my dual ISP idea. It's a bit of a relic though, only 10/100 on the WAN side, and uses proprietary software to configure.
Today I finally got my hands on what I've been looking for, just about the smallest and lightest bat that meets Little League Minor specs, a 27" 16oz stick for my daughter, who started dropping her hands moving up to the heavier bats of her LL age group. If there was something I could buy that would make her practice, I would buy that too 🙂
