EsMy new toy.
2hp/cu-in
It is not just how much power it makes, but how much of that power one uses.
Put your foot to the floor on a regular basis and you can expect it to wear out faster.
You da man gimp!
I’ve been eyeballin the 690/701 enduros for way too long!
Stock engine. What is it your driving that comes with that kinda nutz?......stock motor?

Looks fun! You don’t really purchase something like that based on longevity?
Nice new toy my friend. My new toy.

How true. For the most part I drive like an old lady. When the urge hits, it's nice to have the sport setting on the tranny and paddle shifters to make you feel young again.

They’d have to bring back the three on the tree for me! lol
And two in the back?
Not quite that old.....or a truck driver
My first car had a flathead 6 and three on the tree. What does a kid do when he gets his first car......he takes it to the 1/4 mile drag strip where it turned a blazing 22.something while being smoked by a Corrolla.
A kid usually blows up his first car, and I was no exception. After several false starts I finally rebuilt everything, and made a few mods along the way. The quarter mile time was now in the low 17's.
the car was 20 years old when I got it, and I had it for nearly 30 more, and it was still running fine when I swapped it for a nice Scott tube stereo.

It probably took three seconds just to get through the gears!

The two in the back referred to the young ones looking to get into the drive in theatre. Back then they called it favours. Seeing your picture, I think we are of a similar ilk.
I just made a deal for Tektronix 475A/DM44 250MHz scope...functional and calibrated for 200€!
Nice!! 🙂
Old Skool rule.....longevity = <1 hp/cui
Maybe can go a little higher... The 2L NA (122cui) engine in my Peugeot commonly will do 300,000 to 400,000KM. It produces 150bhp standard. I've seen one that was stripped down at around 250,000KM and it still had the factory hone marks in the bores!
Tony.

Got ya......I thought you might of been talking about the old Columbia 2 spd ‘overdrive’ rear ends!
Ahh, the old drive in days......good times!
First one was ‘Herbie the love bug’ a flying Volkswagen on a screen that big leaves a lasting impression!

There’s exceptions to every rule....it was more of a hot rod thing anyway.
Chevy LT1 350/350hp ....beat it all day everyday, would not die!
Raw....kick ya in the behind fun.....I don’t think the new stuff could handle the abuse we used to inflict ‘back in the day’😀
Uh-oh, I'm more than double that.
Same here Cal! That is what quitting smoking does for you!!!
Glad to hear you have stuck it out Brian. It's now 2,358 days for me.
I’ve never really smoked tobacco....(tried different versions in my youth)
so it’s hard for me to understand when people tell me it’s the hardest thing they’ve ever done to quit.....I find it interesting you know exactly how many days!
Different strokes, I guess (no pun intended). Me, I have more trouble staying away from junk carbohydrates than I ever did with booze, weed, & nicotine put together, for sure. 😱/

A box of Krispy Kreme glazed is unsafe anywhere within 150ft of me 😀
