Alpair 10.3 dual help

This is what happens when you don't keep a proper catalogue of your own work. Ploughing through a folder of work-in-progress & misc. designs, I ran across this, which I worked up last December. :sigh:

You and Dave also did a bespoke design for me, for 2x Alpair 10.x, a number of years ago. Sadly, I never got around to building them. I think we called it the "megaTower" (or was it the "megaCastle"?) or something like that, since it was basically just a bigger version of the P-10 microTower in "Castle" configuration.

Since I (happily) paid for the plans but then never built them, I'd love to see someone else build them!

EDIT: Found the plans! It was called the "CogiCastle" and was intended for the Alpair 10.2 + Alpair 10P (which is what I had on hand) but I suspect it would work fine for 2x Alpair 10.3.

If Scott does not object, I can share the plans here.

Depends on how they are wired.

I would wire in series and put a big shunt cap on the bottom one.

Advantages:
0/ in the bass you have 2 drivers working so each has to only do half the work.
1/ no change in level as transition is made between 1 ndriver and 2 drivers
2/ Since the driver limits are most likely
regarding these statements, how big of a shunt cap are you suggesting ?
I've bought 2 pairs of these drivers, waiting them to arrive, the price was too good to pass upon, 240euro for 2pairs new and unused..
but, i have no idea how to utilize them all at once.

Could 1 driver be used in open baffle on top and the 2nd driver with shunt cap in a box like sibelius desing(different dimensions to keep normal 1m height).

Thoughts ?

There is also this hybrid:

I choose to build these, since they are rather simple. I like the way they play and they also play the low notes quite well. Some have even thought that I have my subwoofer on when we've been listening to these. Unfortunately I have no comparison to other dual designs, so can't really say what is the best.
