I don't know, the aleph was in production for what? 5 years? A dual aleph with X than combines all the benefits of balanced AND single ended will probably be in production for 10 years. If nothing else the design was a little ahead of its time. 😉

Alephs are still in production, and another generation is
coming off the drawing board, available in Spring.

The originals lasted 9 years in the marketplace before we
launched the "Volksamp" product.

How long does any product line last? The market decides.
For me, dynamic bias was good for 4 years, Stasis about 15,
Aleph is still going at 11, X is still going at 5....

Don't worry, I have a big hat full of stuff.

😎

Sweet deal...

OK folks, I just got off the phone with the Advanced Circuits sales rep, with the final price quote in my hands. Due to a pricing error on their website over the weekend, we're actually getting a bit of a discount on the boards... 🙂

After guestimating the shipping price (factory to me) at $0.35 per board, including a small margin for error, the final price came out to $3.98 per board. I figured I might as well round that up to $4 even, just to make life simple for everyone. Keep your eyes peeled for the detailed pricing and payment instructions email which I will send out this eveing.

So there you have it, $4 boards! 😎 I'm really looking forward to seeing these suckers come back from the factory.

PS - I'm ordering plenty of extras, so there will be some spares available for sale after all the initial orders are sorted out.

Thanks to eveyone here! I'm so impressed and awed by the turnout on this group order.

Contest:

One free pair of rev1.0 boards to whoever can guess the final number of boards requested (not including the spares I'm ordering)... Send me one email with the subject: "Aleph-X Contest", and your guess in the body of the email (only your first guess will count). Closest guess wins. In the event of a tie, I'll send a free pair to each winner. I'll announce the winner Friday evening!

Good luck...

For me, endless question is: Could I love my present diy amplifiers until my wedding ring is worn off...??? Otherwise, which one should be my real choice...???

It seems that number of PCBs is sold at the diy cost successfully. Does it mean Aleph-X qualified? A masterwork could be the masterwork only when it is completed and ...

Being confused, I feel the usual dizzy.

Enjoy. 🙂

Advice would be appreciated).

I'd like to order 8 (eight) of the Rev 1.0 boards.
