I see... Nice.you can stay with IRFP240, considering lower dissipation, but double xconductance of IRF150 will bring lower THD
(I only use two IRFP240'S and not 4 as pr. the original AlephJ schm. on the Mimi, you remember ZM?)
Thx. for the explanation 👍
Jesper.
fact is that - whatever number of mosfet pairs, when you make sum of xconductance, using double means 6db decrease in overall THD
if no other changes involved
if no other changes involved
Which one of them IRFP150 are used in the BOM, there are some slight differences between them...
Do not overthink this Jesper

I'm going to build my Aleph with VT4C in output, as soon I find original Aleph case
I'll put original top panel aside and make new one, with 4pcs of VT4C proudly on

Ah, the porcupine amp. My old Aleph 3 is what started me down this journey into Pass-land. Why did I sell that one?!?!?!??

What’s the pcb and smps in the front for?it is a live, some fine tuning left
it's a soft start, and a power supply for dc protect (not in use). is the same case i use for my F6
Sorry if this has been discussed, but I've been following this thread closely and I haven't seen any chassis recommendations now that the Modus custom is no longer available for pre-order. I missed the window due to having no money in my fun fund 🙁.
Anyone find anything comparable? Not sure I'm happy with the idea of a blind order from Alibaba.
I think someone mentioned the generic 4U aluminum from Modushop. Any other options?

Modushop Dissipante 4U/300 Deluxe and the 5U/400 Deluxe both work great and there's even a sale going on right now. I've built two Aleph Jzm's in the 4U/300 Deluxe chassis. Works great.
You may get lucky and once we finish producing them a couple extra ones could be available. That's an information that unfortunately I do not have at the moment but I'll make sure to keep you updatedSorry if this has been discussed, but I've been following this thread closely and I haven't seen any chassis recommendations now that the Modus custom is no longer available for pre-order. That's perfect. I will probably end up with that option unless Gianluca has a spare or two available when the dust settles.Modushop Dissipante 4U/300 Deluxe and the 5U/400 Deluxe both work great and there's even a sale going on right now. Thank you for the input!
