I made a start. I need to cut out the corners of the VU meters and get a lead for the screen or none of it will fit. It is all a VERY tight fit. The Audiophonics Sabre DAC has a small screen, infrared sensor, on/off switch and volume which I have made cut outs for. I cracked the acrylic which is annoying. I also have given it a mat finish. Lots to do.

Nice design!🙂
Thanks Bucks Bunny. I still have a lot to do. I will hopefully have a very user friendly system. The DAC has a few different inputs and I think I can get it to turn the amp on/off with a relay.

Look good
As soon as you are done, please take a few photos
Have fun at work....
If trying to make a simple integrated amp using this module what is the suggested volume pot value? I could get a stepped attenuator or a linear type Alphs RK27/16 type as well.
Thanks
Thanks
I like to use 10k DACT type SMD 21 step attenuators. They are very accurate, the only downside is only having 21 steps Some can be ganged together for a balanced volume, I have one but not used it. Behind the sticker on the back is a hexagon hole which can move another attenuator with an adapter. They are not expensive on eBay.
Hi and hope everybody had a good Christmas long weekend!
Any news on when the amps will be sent?
