Sonny, why don't you choose NDK NZ2520SD? I think NDK has better phase noise performance. (just asking, no preference...)
I have been looking on them. They are not easy to get, and they are better but cost 4 times more.
But a bad PCB layout can make the difference Zero. I have choosen to use the HC736R from foxcon . They are low jitter types, coupled with a good layout they will perform very well.

Have you considered a headphone out?
No i have not but i think it could be part of the preamp solution.
Can I have mine without the USB chassie female mounted? I'm gonna extend it and dont have a lot of room in its case to be.
Cool ty. Please send the connector on the side so I can track the strips to the holes if possible.
Mmhh.. Yes i Can do that

Me too.😀 Thanks!
All parts are purchased, just waiting on PCB and opamps. That is end next week, and it is also there the early bird runs out.

Sonny, I have read your DAC 1.0 document. I saw a preamp connector-J5, which means you are developing a preamp between DAC and Power Amp, right?
Would you please describe your preamp project, discrete or op-amp? with an analog R2R or IC type volume control?Balanced?...

You are right.
I have not decided yet if it is Discrete or opamp. I have an discrete opamp solution, and it cost the same as the opamp ADA4627-1. So it is the sound quality it depends on.
I also have an "discrete" R2R solution, but it is expensive to make, compared to an IC based solution. This two factors i have not decided on yet.
It will have single ended inputs, and 1 balanced input. 1 balanced output and 1 single ended output.
What will be the output level in Vrms from the output board module?
PCM output at 2.4 Vrms; DSD output at 1.55 Vrms

• Output voltage : PCM 2.4Vrms, DSD 1.5Vrms (with Volume bypass).
DSD is lower as we bypass as much as possible in the DSD mode. (It is not possible to bypass Volume control in PCM in the AK4490).

So one makes this settings in the media player? Does it have anything to do with media format? Excuse my noob questions.
