I don’t understand your question. Maybe you should create a simulation (or wire up a circuit) of what you’re trying to do and measure what happens.
I guess it Will work as long as both transformers work in phase.
It's easier to rectify first and connect in series there after.
Then You don't need to check phase.

Yeah, like Figge says, should work fine. This is effectively what’s done with tapped secondaries in commercial amps.
