Why new? Ether I have got fakes...that makes the trouble?
And most are usually missing a leg or two trying to get them out...
I have already spent weeks, trying to figure out what happens/why...without success.
The last minute I will spend on them are the way to the waste-bin.

Ahh OK,guess it could be fakes if purchased on ebay and not through authorised dealer.I assume you have properly bypassed all the power pins with small(ie.1uf) film or ceramic caps.

Save those boards!
I might suggest buying some high quality IC sockets. The ones with the round, machined pin sockets, not the cheaper folded spring ones. They are very reliable, have little effect, and you can then change parts easily and quickly.
I even use them as individual sockets for caps and resistors. Get some 24p or larger sockets, or just the inline strips, break them up carefully with your needlenose piliers, and you have single pins! Perfect for developing, where you might be changing filter values a lot till settling down on final values. Then you can solder permanently if you like.
As a troubleshooting tip, see if you can separate your crossover into lower order sections, to see if they work. That should help you to pin down where the problem is.

Did most of you lost interest in the latest group buy, or do you have difficulty with the WIKI?
I count another 10 or so members who showed interest in the latest group buy but haven't signed up (F1 fan, CJC, umut1001, Munga, icsaki, Nisbeth, Toaster, bfischer, NYCone and potepuh). These account for about 60 possible boards. Together with the people who signed up were getting near the target of 100 boards.
Do you guys still have interest?

I still have interest and have attempted to sign up using the Wiki site, but that fails repeatedly. I've been researching alternate paths to take and would be interested if there was some progress.

I am still interested in probably 6 filter boards and 2 PS boards, I just didn't have a chance to sign up on the wiki. Is it 6 boards what I need for a stereo 3-way crossover?

Can anyone tell me what would be a good (ideally free or cheap) program to design & test (simulate) circuits for active filters. I used Circuit Maker to model & modify the Linkwitz ASP crossover boards to suit my speakers but it will not run on my new PC and hasn't been supported foe eons.

A couple of good circuit sim programs are: LTSpice, and Simetrix.
LTSpice is well known, well supported, used by huge numbers of people, and free.
Simetrix is a commercial program, but they have a full featured but circuit size limited free demo.
I use them both, kinda like the schematic drawing interface of Simetrix more than LTSpice's... and you'll find more tutorial support with LTSpice... but both are great for the job.

PSU 2.2 can provide up to 500 mA, the limiting factor being the rectifier diodes.

What voltage & VA transformer would you recommend for a single PSU board, again 15V
How much current does a fully packed crossover board use.
So many questions, some subjects never go away 🙂
