Does any-one know where I could find some DIYer on parametric eqs??????

Try searching for "Rane and EQ" maybe something will come up....

The design of a real perametric EQ should make it possible to adjust Q, Fcenter, and Gain without one affecting the other..... so you will need 3 pots pr. adjustment if you want to make it universal.

If you want to build a say 10 band EQ I'm sure there is something on the net.... here the Q and Fcenter will be fixed, and only the gain can be adsjusted.

What do you prefer?

THANK YOU,THANK YOU .....and

PSU 2.2 can provide up to 500 mA, the limiting factor being the rectifier diodes.

If you were to do a bit of modification to allow larger diodes the limiting factor would be heat sinking on the pass transistors. The PSU design spreadsheet calculates max current based on heat sink size and the assumptions that it sits in 35C ambient and 100C maximum junction temperature.

I've had a few requests for boards, but not enough to justify another buy. With nearly 2,000 AF4 boards out there, I suspect that there are a lot gathering dust.

If you are not going to use your boards, post their availability here and likely someone will snatch them up.

Hi everybody -

I need 2-4 filter boards for new projects. (Have used up all the 8 I originally bought). Anyone have some they are not going to use?

Thanks, Espen
