can't download the manual!
Hi Bob / Jens,
I can't download the manual. The page is locked?! Can some one please send me a working link or the (zipped) file?
Thank you

Jason - are you looking for information on how to design the eq sections of this board or make an adjustable equalizer?

Re: Off topic
Try searching for "Rane and EQ" maybe something will come up....
The design of a real perametric EQ should make it possible to adjust Q, Fcenter, and Gain without one affecting the other..... so you will need 3 pots pr. adjustment if you want to make it universal.
If you want to build a say 10 band EQ I'm sure there is something on the net.... here the Q and Fcenter will be fixed, and only the gain can be adsjusted.
What do you prefer?

THANK YOU,THANK YOU .....and

class-a
Is there any significant improvement to be expected by running the opamps in class-a.
Does the PSU 2.2 has enough power for that?

depends.
How many opamps do you plan to use?
How many are being converted to single ended ClassA?
What bias current do you plan to use for the ClassA?

You forcing me to finnish the design. I have to get back to you.
Soundwize, is it a matter of doing all or doing none? or is biassing the input and output opamps f.i. already benneficial (how do you spell that?)

PSU 2.2 can provide up to 500 mA, the limiting factor being the rectifier diodes.
If you were to do a bit of modification to allow larger diodes the limiting factor would be heat sinking on the pass transistors. The PSU design spreadsheet calculates max current based on heat sink size and the assumptions that it sits in 35C ambient and 100C maximum junction temperature.

If you are not going to use your boards, post their availability here and likely someone will snatch them up.
Hi everybody -
I need 2-4 filter boards for new projects. (Have used up all the 8 I originally bought). Anyone have some they are not going to use?
Thanks, Espen
Re: spare boards
Excellent. I'll take them. PM sent.
Thanks, Espen

Hi,
I'm looking for other two active xover boards in order to complete my active xover with a stereo band pass module. Can someone helps me?
