We are currently using and planning for a 20 x 2 PLED. It works just like an LCD display but is much brighter and easy to read. It looks a lot like a VFD display but is much more reasonably priced.

We might, but you could use any universal type remote that supports RC5.

You better believe it, i certainly want one. The pre-amp i have now rock's just wish i had a display and a remote 🙂
Note: we will likely not supply an actual remote. We will probably do code learning so you can use any (RC5) remote.
The code I have already supports code learning. If a flag (jumper or switch) is set it steps you through the commands and allows you to map them to keys

I have a generic remote that you can buy for $5 that will be perfect should i post a picture so you can see it ?
Are you also going to make Twisted X-BoSoZ Preamp KITs available again?
I would surely build the whole preamp with your KITs including Input and volume control.

If it supports Phillips/RC5 it will work fine. Thats all you need to check.

We are not sure if/when we will do XBOSOZ again, but if you like the XBOSOZ you should really try the TXD. I think you will be very surprised by that little thing. 🙂
Cheers!

Actually you should! The TXD modules sounds surprisingly good. A lot of us finds "chip" circuits unappealing! There is no need for that with the THS4131 chip. If its TI's implementation of SUSY or Russ's particular use of the chip , I don't know. Most likely a combination of the two🙂 The stamp-sized boards doesnt look like much, but the sound is not lacking at all. I even dare to postulate that the topend is better than the X-CC-CCS-BosoZ.
Hope I dont get hung for blasfemi, after that remark😀
