Stereo 900WRMS calls for a PSU thats atleast 3kW continous power capable, 2x900W = 1800W, add to that a rough estimation of 50% efficiency and you end up with 3.6kW of PSU.

You need eight of them not because of power needed but because it is double simetric supply,four rails. Two channel doubles it. Than it would be close enough even with power of supply.

if 1500VA transformer is for one channel H900, for 2-channel amp, do you prefer 2 transformers (1500VA) or 1 transformer with 3000VA rating?

Sir Mile i have 2 questions for u:
1: do 4 pairs at the output stage are enough to drive 4ohm load at full power keeping in mind that they are powered with 120vdc..no need for extras?
2: the swithching between 50v to 120v is fast enough with no distortion between switching?
