What about reversing at the input to the 6V6 line amp, will it work ??
Just think about that again, it will not work.
I was kind of think that it will not work, but do not know exactly why.
I asked, just hoping that it might.
And what if I do not reverse at the speaker ?? Have you or Salas or anyone tried that ??

When you have single ended signal and you reverse transfer wires in the electronics you just ground the hot signal side. Diminishes to zero. But speakers are passive transducers that will simply reverse their motion if you reverse the polarity at their terminals. They are current balanced input/output devices by nature. When with purely passive speakers no second thought, they will work on any polarity.
When you do not reverse at the speakers you simply don't have an absolute phase correct audio system if the chain contains some phase reversing component. Like when containing this preamp in gain mode. Buffer mode does not reverse. Doubtful if you hear something worse and on what recordings for that. You try correct and decide. Remember that absolute phase button on some expensive CD players? Was there because recordings differ depending on how the makers processed absolute phase in the chain from mic inputs to issued media. They normally don't even think about that. Its worth maintaining is highly controversial. Its you restore it at the speakers for your system at least because you can. When there is a practical reason like blending mains with subwoofers fed from another point in the chain and the phase is wrong then you must flip it either at the subs or at the mains and don't leave that aspect to chance.

I' not sure if this question has already been done in this 10 years long thread, maybe not ! Any advise about using the 6V6 in triode mode as a 300B driver stage?

Here's a classic SE 300b circuit by Noriyasu Komuro using 6V6 triode as a driver.
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

You will probably be zapped when you are about to find the volume knob 😉
Regards
Correctly.😎
The whole design is still at an experimental stage, it will be transferred to the normal chassis one for all.🙂

It can swing the voltage but I would probably experiment with some high transconductance trioded pentode as mu-follower companion for the current need/impedance.
Salas 2 matched tungsol are on the way, please could you link me or post again the schematic for mains transformer with secondary 240VAC? I searched form post page 1 to page 125 and can't see the schematic.

I don't remember about a specific schematic but it could have beeen some typical configuration of a 240VAC secondary, 1000PIV solid state bridge, CRC of 220uF-100R-220uF.
Yes but the anode resistor changed the value but not remember if changed some more values of components?
Yes but use 6k8 10w anode resistor.
10W is needed. You can use 2x15K 5W if you already have.
Yes its enough.
Gotcha.
