APEX B100 3D
Mile lord, I'm trying to change the B500 with 1 pair of Toshiba, the question is how many volts the maximum that I use? to R 5 Watt, in the last section 0.33 R does have to be replaced?. I deleted some of the components as in the PRO and I do not use NSL32.
regards

apex,
but the problem is,how to incorporate this output stage with these driver pcb,
hope to get help this time
Hi Engel,
I am doing an amp using the 12 pairs output with this driver board. I will let you know the results. I hope Mile can guide us how we can incorporate it to the output stage.

Rey
Hi Mile,
I have done your B500 with your original PCB and the sound so goood!!! I have done substitution of the capacitor 2X47uf with 1X22uf Nichicon non-polar cap. and the 2X22uf with 1X10uf Nichicon non-polar cap. Is this correct?
Regards.

thanks presbel,
try to use sprint lay out 5.0 if you can
if you have the tools
to MR. MIles thanks to your b500 it's another Milestone in audio circuitry, today i tested the amp very good sound, vocal is clear even i used subwoofer speaker and yet you will hear vocals loud and clear pictures and video to be followed, only problem i encountered is your PA protect when i connect to amp 100 watts bulb in series to primary of trafo glow and stays, and 10r 5w series to fuse voltage rails are quickly getting hot. something is wrong with protect.Mr Miles pls. check in short circuit protection diagram PRO terminal in series with 1n4148 in Board it's in wrong position i think pls. check MR.Miles, good day.

Short circuit protect is activ only with more than 9A current per outputs (2,8V on resistor 0,33R/5W) and you have AC signal on PRO terminal. You can't have this current with serial bulb and 10R resistors. Short circuit is stres for outputs and you can't have 100% protect, do not short circuit amp out it's risk.

Hello Masood,
I am sorry I read you massage today only. I make my test p.c.b. by hand. This is hoe I do it .First take out a correct size print .cut and clean p.c.b. of same size . fix drawing on p.c.b. with tape on sides. drill all holes. take away the drawing. clean board with 00 no. emry. draw connection with camlin marker pen.Etch with ferric chloride. I am esndin photos of my recent work.

sorry miles i mean the amp not the protect, amp has shorts on copper lines.Mr Miles another question when i increase volume to maximum, protect activate need to reset to work again load test in 4r and 8r without tone control what could the cause?

Peak current 36A with 8R load... !? Check resistors value and post pictures...

you are right sir upon inserting parts to my 2nd amp i found out one resistor (r5,47k) instead i insert a wrong value of 4.7k i think this might be the cause of over current that activated the protect.

I can see why you have a ! followed by a ?Peak current 36A with 8R load... !? Check resistors value and post pictures...
36Apk through 8r0 requires a load Vdrop of 288Vpk !!!
MR MILE, IS THIS VI LIMITER IN CIRCLE WITH RED? IF I'M NOT WRONG CAN THIS USE IN B500 AND H900?VALUES OF RESISTOR WITH FP WHAT DOES IT MEANS?

Yes this is VI limiter and it can be use in B500, FP is flame proof resistor but you can use regular 22k 0,5W resistor.

" !? " usually means something like "i can't beleive..." just like your " !!! " means "do you even know what i am talking about?"
Be a man,not a resistor.
