500W PA amplifier with Limiter

On your PCB emiter 2SA1837 is connect to colector 2SA1943...😕 Your 2SA1837 is on wrong position, you must move it 2,5mm, and then emiter 2SA1837 will be connect to base 2SA1943,

sir
i just got home
i did what you told me...
amp is now working fine...
hum is a bit present...
but audio is clear...
tnx sir...
i highly appreciate it...🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂😛😛😛😛😀😀😀😀😀

B500 can work without limiter (nsl32), and you can put led diode instead nsl32 for clip indicate (post #418),

sir...
i replaced nsl 32 with a regular LED and a 47k resistor...
how will varying this resistor effect the amp???...
if i vary this 47k resistor to 100k or lower it down to 22k...how wiwll this change take effect on the amp???...🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

hello diy'ers can anyone send me a complete schematic, pcb layout and component placement guide for apexaudio b500 amp? My email is jlcastro77@yahoo.com. I am planning to build 1 channel to be used as subwoofer aplifier. If you can include the recommended PSU, speaker protector and power on delay circuit i would appreciate.

Regards

sir,...
everything you need is in the thread...
reading the pages would certainly give you everything...
it will also give you ideas on how to build the circuit base on sir mile's advices...🙂🙂🙂🙂

this one my project.....

sir i calculated the psu requirement in the the following way
P=V X V / R
root over of 500 X 4 = V
that is = 45V approx
current requirement = V/R
assuming 45 V Secondary = 45/4 = 11.25A per channel
so the transformer rating required as per my assumption will be 45-0-45 @ 23A for stereo Operation for 500W at 4E, that equates upto = 2070VA
sir,
there is some thing that I dont understand about designing Psu For an amp ...... what wrong am i doing kindly guide me through.....cause ur and my calculation r nt matching what am i missing .........
