Michael what B+ do you use: 250VDC and 70mA?
I'm using the gyrator v2 so my B+ is not that critical.
I'm running my 4P1L on 30mA each which I believe is sufficient.
So 70mA seems to be a fair amount of current for a set.
Don't know what is preferable for transformer output, as I am using
a Cap output version.
Hi Merlin el Mago.
If you decide to do the ver3 , with transformer output listening to
Andy and use this link for Ales ver3 as posted earlier.
I have no clue about ver3 , never build it.

Well, that's a start. That's the PSU for the Gen 3 version, 235v. The schematic you posted was closer to the Gen 1b 250v.

Still 70mA?
?
Hello merlin
the 70ma is the value you set Salas hv in..(Ale wrote 75ma)
the 2 tube use about 60ma
with my new gyro i have about 240vdc to the gyrator..and about 155vdc to the anode
best bjarne

same as Michael use
only difference,,i have 15ohm resistor for heater..he use 8ohm
i have also used the gen3 trafo output--

Thank you your information is much appreciated & helped me a lot, I want to try first like you without SSHV2 only gyrator + CCS load so I design my PSU for 65mA to be in the safe side and 250V for B+.

good question --only thing i know for now is..i have 20vdc after the rectifire and caps..
it falls some volt down with the Coleman regulator.
