Here is a mini klam for 3FE22/25 speaker which is lofted from the circle to the K-Slot. A standard mini klam in this size has some severe resonance dips, this will be printed one day to see if it can make a difference.

that is cool !

I think it will do better as have seen improvement with a 1.9" ID K-tube being fed from a one inch compression driver by using a 1" to 2" conic adapter.

It would be interesting to see how Akabak3 interprets this klam.

@pelanj - That looks very good and assume its quite "rigid". It will be interesting if kaameelis runs it through Akabak3 .

How much internal volume does it have vs the Karlson flat-wall version?

I keep hoping a shallow K-lens can do "reasonably" well as a tweeter device.

I think I could measure this in Fusion 360, before I do, my estimate is half of the volume. It is printed from leftover filament at low infill and yes, the shape is much more rigid than the first one. A flat lens directly over the speaker, maybe even with a bit of cone filling should definitely work well.

For a large measuring session, I printed an adapter for 3FE22 to fit on a 2" throat horn. It is now mounted on one of my 2385 clones. STL will be uploaded, too. The only catch is that it is using (like most ofmy stuff) square M4 nuts.

These are 1". They are maybe too small, the Smith-Selsted tweeter was originally for a 1/2" driver, but the only one I know thst can be bought today is the BC DE5. I want to try them with the large multicell horn and compare them with the small one. In this case the looks is above performance, these look really terrific if made from hardwood:)
