2x150W Amp module for sale

Aw, that's awesome. I wouldn't have thought about that layout. I was going to just put the power inlet on the other side of a similarly narrow case (may have tried to re-wire the switch/light if I felt adventurous).

Is that 25 Euro with shipping? Could you provide the source? I have been all over looking for a box that's not 2x the price of the amp. Some alibaba stuff but shipping to the USA kills it, and some really ugly blue/white ones. But some of it was just not understanding the space requirements to commit (which I obviously got wrong on the first try @ $18).

Go bananas = play at max volume?

I am planning on building a B1 Buffer (external, DIY thread) for this amp. Not sure if I want to upgrade to the Mezmerize version (external, DIY thread).

I looked but didn't find something that was simpler than the B1 - because I don't know enough to know about impedance sinks/sources, etc. to just put a potentiometer in the line.

But currently, I am using the volume control on an Android phone connected via a 3.5mm to RCA adapter cable.

I have a plan to get some nice sources and XLR when I get my ~Endgame speakers this summer. I plan to have a Doug Self Pre-Amp (external, DIY thread) for the two projected mono-block amps. The older I get, the more simplicity attracts me.

Not really, not even close to max, I haven't measure but I'm sure the amplitude is not nearly close to 2V on the RCA version and forget 4V for the balanced option.

I like this version, since my goal is something compact

Oh, and thanks for chime in.

Finally found some time and a chassis to enclose the amp properly. I have wired up the standby switch out of the board so to that the cables do not get it the way. The blue led indicator is also wired out with to the front panel so that its status is visually accessible at the front panel.

Dear Zoom, how did you make the holes to put the holders on the box?

Imagine the top lines Is the amp board, the bottom one is chassis plate. Or you can even reverse the board. A lot of flexibility if you are imaginative enough.
