Yes , could be but at this moment there is for me no Class D amp that can convince me in the bass region soundwise.
If that is the case, and assuming that you have tried the Hypex nCORE NC400 and the TPA3255 in BTL mode, it will be even more challenging for this amp to impress you in the bass region, which you are particular in. But this amp exudes its other traits which i feel is likeable and far surpass my MA12070. No hiss, no funny noises during operation, very gentle upon power on and off - no surprising clicks or pops.

Vunce is right. I made a six-channel amp out of these just for 3-way crossover work. The modules are great. I have no issues with them whatsoever. I began the use case experiments recently and was happy with fooling around with MiniDSP and an open baffle design I’ve been pondering. https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/ultimate-open-baffle-gallery.123512/post-7208656

I maintain that these class d amps are the best amplifier bargain going and a great option for multi-channel amps. Eric has designed a very good amp and is generous with support.

Next week I may get a distortion measurement of my build, as I’m curious how it compares to other amps of mine.

Happy Holidays!

I received my amp today. Spent a long time shoveling in -10F so delivery truck could get in, and then they managed to cram the package in my mailbox 3/10 mile down the road. It was such a tight fit I almost couldn't get it out. But gladly I did and not only was it packed to perfection, it is a thing of beauty. A fine piece of gear which feels and looks light years' ahead of a typical ali-express class D board. Can't wait to get it up and running, but need to get some standoffs first to mount it in my case. Thanks again Eric. A super person to deal with btw.

Powered up on the universal test bed, quiet and drama free. First impression: this module has a lot of built in gain, very little volume control with my Iron Pre. Probably best to use a preamp with no gain like a B1 rev.2 or modify the amp module to lower the gain.
I will have to turn up the house heat because this amp only draws 8.5W from the the wall, The Class A that was sitting there sucked up 200W and was a nice toasty heat source 🤣

The gain is indeed high. The spec sheet available in this thread and attached here shows a gain of 26db which is typical but I wonder if the buffer pcb also has voltage gain (I’m aware that certain buffer have gain and other attenuate like the B1.

Maybe the designer Eric can confirm the overall gain of the power amp + buffer.
