2x150W Amp module for sale

Hi @Erica.C ,
The amp is reaching me in two day's time. Can you describe briefly on the protection mechanism of your amp? I don't see any relays on the pictures posted.
And when it is in protection mode, do I need to reset the amp?
Hi, Nick

Here is the reply to your question:

1. This amplifier has a voltage limiter and a current limiter will make it equal output power with 4/8 ohm.
2. and, it has short/ DC/HF/Over-temp protection. Except for the DC lock-out, others protection can be resumed once the fault is removed.
3. and, it has the thermal compressor inside, then goes into over-temp protection, so for most user scenarios, there is no worry about the over-temp protection.
For PSU, it's constant power and universal design with PFC integrated:
4. The PSU integrated the over-temp protection and over-load protection, and it's self-recover;
5.. And, the PSU will be lock-out once the +/-VCC is in short mode;

Thanks, Eric

Eric, excellent and thanks.

These amps are amazing, it is sad but you can’t diy anything close to these without spending more money. When I was screwing around with my Roon endpoint the stupid thing would jump to 100% volume, if the amp was not so clean it would have killed my speakers.

@Erica.C ,
I received the amp well, given that it is packed very well. The amp looks stunningly well-built. And it is very easy to hook-up for a quick test. The muting sequence is good, no power on and power off pops/ clicks or strange noises even on my 100dB sensitive speakera.Thank you!

I listen to everything from classical to metal. It’s not often that I'm cranking Black Sabbath or Metallica at 100db+ since I don’t want to go deaf but it’s nice to have the amplifier power to do so when needed🤘. I have to admit it was only when I turned up the volume way to high to see what the Ericamp 150w could do. I was playing Pink Floyd-Animals(2018remix) and the clipping leds were flickering on the loudest peaks. During normal listening even at rather loud volumes the clipping lights never come one.
PF animals on blueray has very good dynamics so it's easy to flicker the clip LEDs.

FYI, Samxon is known to have been a brand that had huge failure rates on cheap PC motherboards and some TVs a number of years back. They have a bad reputation on this forum. Not sure if they are better now?
wow noted on this. i am actually pleased to see that ceramic transistor insulators are used.
edit : googled and see a few discussion on Samxon and as usual, agreement and disagreement, supporters and haters. Well, it is the internet.

Shipping was faster than expected.
The modules look very nice, the balanced boards are the best choice purely based on mounting options.

Do not have the time to evaluate the performance until hopefully next weekend, got called into work just now on a very beautiful saturday and will be quite busy today and tomorrow...
