Add a few dollars, it will be included in the kit.I don't think it comes with the mounting plate.
Where did you get this case? This is the FFA001 in a 170x260x60
case
I believe I’ll go with the case Galaxy 2U, 230mm (W) x 280mm (D), thanks guys 👍
At $69 with the 3mm thick front plate you can’t go wrong. $89 with the 10mm front plate is to much for what it is.

It was on eBay from China, the galaxy case is about the same price by the time you ad the freight.

Hi Bill
I used to buy all my enclosure from eBay or AliExpress but lately the price of an enclosure usually equals the shipping cost so a $60 enclosure will end up costing you $120...and enclosure with top ventilation are rare but to me it’s essential regardless of the amplifier type.
With the Diyaudio store it’s much better, the enclosure is about the same price, has top ventilation but the shipping is much cheaper, I have no clue how they do it but it’s great 👍

Yep my eBay/AliE purchases were not any cheaper and in the end much more hassle than Diy store and ModUShop, and they are much nicer business's’ .

Hi, EricHi
I have the same question.
Would the FFA001 as shown in the pic with the aluminum base be ok inside a 230mm deep enclosure or is a 280mm deep a better fit?
Could I please have the size of the mounting plate. Nice feature btw.
Thanks
Eric
Here are some MECH data for your reference:
FFA001_v3 : LxWxH = 150X90X40
FFA001_I/O : 90X50
For the Al plate, the extra charge is $4.99.
Thanks,Eric
Yes, we add the slots for this AL plate in case some DIYers need to mount it in the chassis.Looks different than the plate in the first post. Weight much less not affecting shipping costs too much.
Recently, I contracted with a new logistics company, and their quotation is reasonable from my point of view.
Thanks, Eric
I used that $69 Galaxy case for a tpa3255 amplifier I built recently. I was quite happy with it for the price, the biggest drawback is that you can’t get fully ventilated steel covers. If you want fully ventilated covers you have to spend the extra $30 or so.I believe I’ll go with the case Galaxy 2U, 230mm (W) x 280mm (D), thanks guys 👍

Another option from modushop are the Slim Line models. I used a Slimline 2u 02/280 for a dual mono TPA3255, it has internal space of 415mm x 280mm and visually is very similar to the Galaxy models.
Happy weekend friends~
Interposer is on-hand now, I'll work with CM to have corrected it on the I/O buffer board and ready to ship all the orders next week. Sorry for keeping you waiting.
PS: Shown the modification on the second pic, looks perfect 🙂
Thanks, Eric

Clever fix, glad you take such pride in your work. Looking forward to the FFA003. Do you have any pictures of it with the corresponding I/O board ?

Hi Eric -
Could you please pm me when the 350w mono bords are available... I want as much power as possible per channel, and to keep the modules ideally seperate for each channel.
I assume that I can run NZ mains supply 240VAC straight into these boards?
thanks Simon
