I obtained some KTA1381Y (hFE 148-180) and KTC3503Y (hFE 115-118) directly from KEC.
Could a guru please explain how to measure cob on these devices?
Thanks,
Jacques
What have you done to get the parts directly from KEC - they do not answer on any email written to sales or product?

Hi Toni,
Sent 2 emails, one to the US (sales), one to S-Korea (product).
Both replied and the Korean divison was kind enough to send me free samples: 20xKTA and 10xKTC.
I just paid Fedex expenses.
If you tell me how to measure cob, I will gladly post the data here.
Cheers,
Jacques
P.S. I asked nicely

Actually, you can't simply measure Cob. It is estimated from other HF parameters. You can measure simple C-B capacitance, which is related, for comparison purposes but a precise measurement of Cob? Nope.
Here is a description of several parameter test methods, including Cob and Cbc: http://www.camsemi.com/pdfs-technical/CamSemi_AN-2576_HV_BJT_production_inspection.pdf
