2007 Maxon Motor Group Buy

Thanks to Bas Horneman, he will host the documentation. So, you can get it directly from his website. I just sent the doc, ver 1.3, I'll send the PCB assembly and testing guide tomorrow.

Shipped PostHorn kit today.

Completed the assembly of the two last PCB I had to build, Greg Nuspel and terence8888.

Keith Fitzgibbon & Sean Henderson last parts kits (assembled from my left overs) are completed. I'll send them an email shorthly.

I should have the switches in my hands by tomorrow. Check your email this weekend for an other batch of kits shipment.

Still working for you guys...

Hello Sylvain,
you.ve done a great work. I just cannot wait anymore to put my hands on that controller....my soldering iron is already smoking.....
When do you think you will be able to send the kits to the rest of us?

DiyAudio Man of the year for me too!!!

Best regards,
Boris

Hi kraljmatjaz. You're one of the lucky ones 😉
You don't have a B/O motor pod. I received some of the switches, the rest should be here next week.

So I should be able to ship some kits this weekend. The faster you'll answer to my email, the faster you'll get the parts 😎

By the way, I'll be gone for work for the next 2 weeks. So, if I don't ship this week-end, the next shipments won't happen before 2 weeks.

UPDATE: I received only 2 switches DPDT, the rest is coming from Digikey by normal mail and should be here this week.

So, I was able to complete just 2 kits, Killowatski was chosen for his help with the plates and kraljmatjaz that expressed his interest in getting the kit faster. Both has no pod on back-order as well. I'm also ready to ship the two last incomplete parts kits, no pods there as well.

So check your mail guys: Killowatski, kraljmatjaz, Ed Fontaine and Keith Fitzgibbon.

atiq19 is packed and ready to ship since two weeks, but no reply so far...

I'm leaving for two weeks tomorrow, so there will be no shipping until I return.

Hello Sylvain, others,

Last week the package arrived in good order.
All was there and all looks well. I will solder and mount it after finishing current projects.
Thank you very much for all the efforts to make this GB possible. Also thanks to the others who contributed.

Once all the projects of the persons gathered in this GB are done I guess the vinyl fever will strike and music will be our part. For now there is idle time for people who are waiting, soldering or puzzling how this control unit will fit the other parts of their turntable. As for me this puzzle is still unfinished. My ambition is to end up with a Teres like set-up. I have a diy version of the Schroeder arm on my wish list.

Shortly, probably this thread will be continued with all kinds of experiences with the controller itself. Would it be an idea to use the current idle time to share thoughts about your application of this Maxon-motor controller unit? This way Sylvain can see how his efforts contribute to our next level.
What will be your turntable setup? How do you go about to achieve this?

Best, Arjen.
