im a bit confused, because if you look at the parts layout on pcb, the diode is placed before the .33 ohm resistor. thats why im thinking if i will be putting another diode to another output pair. by the way what is the job of the 2 1n4007 diode there?
can you post some pics of your ax-14 project with 2 or more outputs.
thanks
Maybe for rectifier from output power amplifier for adding a voltage to rail..

Sir bought new transistorsToshiba 2sc5200,2sa1943 and 2sa1837
i am in a way to buy other components to diy ax-14.

Tell me whether these are genuine or not.
And also i need a pre-amp that having 2 mic(0.60mV) and 2 aux inputs(150mV) with tone control for AX-14
can i use piezo tweeter along with 100w speaker at 8R?
thank you

Thank you sir
(both the photos are of same transistors)
could you please provide me the schematic of required preamp if you have.
Those are beautifull speakers Apex, do you have plans to build these?Yes, but this is amplifier for HI-FI speakers, it's usualy 8 ohms for home listening.

Hi apexaudio, I would like to know the reason for the 1N4007 diodes over the output transistors? Also don't these diodes cause noise? Many designs use schottkey's or soft recovery on the powersupply bridge and now there are 1N4007's on the amp output?
They're protection diodes to prevent the output voltage being pulled up higher than the supply voltage when driving an inductive load. When the amp's not clipping, they're reverse-biased and have no significant effect.Hi apexaudio, I would like to know the reason for the 1N4007 diodes over the output transistors? Hi Mile
I have build this amplifier the problem is the dc output is nearly 5V when 100R are placed instead of fuses and another thing is positive rail 100R is getting hot while the other one is no heat what could be the problem? please help me.

Mr. Mile, Have you schematic and layout amplifier class D for subwoofer useing BJT????
I only heard of Class D using Mosfets .

Umm .. that heatsink's not equivalent .

Thats not the problem
i did not connect SG to main ground now it is solved

My point was , it isn't small , but there's not enough fins .
