+/-24V DC is the lowest operating voltage, if you have +/-32V DC you can use this amp but power will be about 40W on 8R load.Apex , what is the lowest operating voltage for your circuit.. Could this be operated at 32V ?

Hi..Apex...It's..PA H750 or H900 on another thread? Or difference PA??🙄

H750 is older version of H900 without limiter and bridge circuit, rest is almost same. H1200 is different, and use VAS from this amplifier.Hi..Apex...It's..PA H750 or H900 on another thread? Or difference PA??🙄

H1200 use same VAS as AX14, but output stage is triple darlington.
Like what schema H1200??
I hope Mr. Apex will sharing this project for DIYers...🙂

apex ,if i dont want to use the overcurrent protection ,can i just not solder the corresponding parts or there are other modifications i must have i mind?

Just shorted 0R1/5W, but I can't see reason to not use short-circuit protection, apex ,if i dont want to use the overcurrent protection ,can i just not solder the corresponding parts or there are other modifications i must have i mind?

in fact i want to use a 35 Ampere bridge rectifier and it doesnt fit, the 8A bridge you suggest may not be adequate enough and will propably get quite hot so i think of not using the short circuit protection and not place any of its components ,and in that space i put the biggest bridge rectifier .
i have placed all the components so far and i will continue tommorow..

You can put bridge rectifier out of pcb, and connect it with wires,in fact i want to use a 35 Ampere bridge rectifier and it doesnt fit, the 8A bridge you suggest may not be adequate enough and will propably get quite hot so i think of not using the short circuit protection and not place any of its components ,and in that space i put the biggest bridge rectifier .

I must find and share newer version of this PSU with soft-start for transformer and 35A bridge rectifier on PCB.
I like to see pictures of builded PSU or amp, this is reason for share, and I will post what you want from my arhive. I have lots of my old projects, and I want post only most useful for diy.

Put the 35A bridge rectifier on case and connect with wires from pcb. Overcurrent protection is very adventage circuit and I suggest to use it, this short circuit protect cut out speakers even at low volume level, you can use amplifier without rail fuses and VI limiter with this protect safely.here is the psu ,but without the overcurrent protection parts.ithis space i want to put the 35Α bridge rectifier

the overcurrent protection at your design ,only checks current at positive rail.what about negative rail ?isnt it necessary?
No, audio signal is AC current from 20Hz to 20000Hz, there is 20 peak current per sec minimum, and it's simetrical in positive and negative rail, it's not necessary checks current in both rail like with DC current.the overcurrent protection at your design ,only checks current at positive rail.what about negative rail ?isnt it necessary?

Can you post picture in high resolution?here is the psu ,but without the overcurrent protection parts.ithis space i want to put the 35Α bridge rectifier

this is the best i can get with my phone camera .its night here now.
i havent tested the psu yet.i will connect the 35A rectifier and put back the short circuit protection.
do you suggest 0.22ohm resistors for short circuit protection ? i am using a 24-0-24 volt /200VA transformer which is +-33 volt dc after rectification and smoothing capacitors.
