100W Ultimate Fidelity Amplifier

Hey Alex,

Very cool! A new circuit to build.

I am in the process of finally mounting my P30, built on your layout, into a case. I have the A class PSU built for it. The only thing I'm lacking is the MM28 phono circuit. If you get to feeling ambitious would you give a stab at a layout for it? I would love to have the complete setup. Here's the schematic.

Thanks, Terry

Hi Terry,
I took a stab at the MM-28 ckt . Its just a first draft, see if you find any mistakes or have suggestions to give. it sure is a bloody complicated ckt, with 28 trannies, trouble shooting would be hell.

P20

Hi, here is a layout for the P20. At the weekend I'll test it. A PCB is ready. The output capacitor I have omitted, all my amplifiers have capacitors at the input.
I will report and upload the sprint file if everything works.

regards Olaf

I couldnt find any mistakes in the sch and layout of MM-28, so here are both.

Thanks Prasi,

It looks fine but I am having second thoughts about this one. 56 devices just for the phono stage seems excessive not to mention all the space it will consume in the case. I have a P06 from ESP that i think I'll use instead. Much smaller footprint.

Thanks, Terry

I suggest MM3 if you want phono preamp with OP amps.

hi guys
What is the purpose of ac in the following circuit(on 1n4007's pin)
respectfully

Attach your pictures.

To add a photo, files or non standard files.

First click "go advanced" in the box below the "quick reply" message box. Doesn't matter if you decide half way through a message to do that, it carries it forward.

Then click "Manage attachments". Maximise the new Window so that you can see all the text.

Click browse in the first box at the top and find your picture. Repeat for any more pictures.
Click upload... a message appears "uploading"
When complete the files will show as being attached. Now click the small text that says "close this window"

The pictures should now be attached and when you submit your post they will appear.

Make sure your pics aren't too big, a couple of 100k is plenty, and many members object when they are massive and it alters the margins
It tells you in the attachments window what max sizes are allowed.

If you want to attach a file that has a non standard format for example excel, circuit simulation etc then try putting the files in a zipped folder and attaching that.
