OC detect

Hi everybody,

Let me wish you all a very happy new year!

I built the OC detect and I want to protect my NX-14. Should I need to change any of these components if I want to work my NX-14 with 2 ohms speakers.

I would like to know how it works, so I can change the components and post my experiments.

Power supply 40-0-40 DCV
Emitter Resistor 0.22R/5W

PS. DC protect with NE555 works fine! Thanks dear Mile for the circuit!

This one will be used at my old school

And BC550 & BC560 should be OK, right?
I use BC550-560 on this AX20 😎

Sound is great, it has been sing for a while now.

I had a distorted sound at high volume, but I realize that I don't adjust bias yet 😀
So I adjust the bias, the 1k resistor must be increased.
Now it sound very good, very clear & powerful sound.

This amp will be used in the school that I was there long time ago.
I build it for my teacher there in the school & He and all the students there must be like the sound 🙂
Maybe someday many of them will studying how to make a great amplifier from Apexaudio
