Just did an all 80's party on the 7th. "Purple Reign" in honor of Princes BD. It was a bit LOUD. 😈 Like when Dead Or Alive - Spin me Right Round was played. Some serious 909 action there. As a note - a Go Gos song was played and I thought something happened as no bass. No input being shown on amps so I powered them down and heard the sound change. Powered on and it was there just basically non existent. ( Cardioid at work) It was a wave file being played so it was recorded that way. Freaked me right out.
I have 2 Krakens and amp to push 4 of them with headroom.
Just need to upscale the design. No time as of yet. (if someone wants to do that with the pervious attached HR file...)

The impedance minima at 31 Hz is 3.94 ohms, over 5600 watts into a 2000 watt rated driver is a bit optimistic, especially with nearly a 4/1 compression ratio.

BP1Fanatic - 808 for that fat sustained and decay boom. 909 for the sharp attack kick bass that hits you in the chest.
weltersys - roger on that. Have regular 3/4 ply for the test building. Will also re re read the thread again as I recall you mentioning the testing of different ones.
I'm a good 6 DB down from what maxolini posted above at 31 hz. Also not looking to push them to that extreme. Input power is my biggest limiting factor.
Really surprised that there isn't a Hornresp importer for Sketchup or other CAD app.
Brian Steele boxplans (excell spreadsheets ) are awesome to convert your hr screens in to the actual cut sheets, ask him if he can make the keystone spreadsheet.
Lordsansui parametric cad files are also great, based on freecad and his own scripts you can calculate the dimensions of the actual box

It's not possible to model mouth geometry in Hornresp, so it's probably not something I'd include in the BOXPLAN workbooks, as their purpose is to generate an accurate Hornresp model that describes the type of build that the workbook covers.

that would be awesome, it is hard to believe that in the age of massive AI trough many platforms there is no AI implementation in the speaker cabinet design arena, or if there is ... looks like it is proprietary software to big label cabinet manufacturers.
in the meantime looks like brute force approach is the only way

The key thing would be to see if it's possible to "approximate" the layout by comparing the sim'd response to a measured response curve, finding the closest fit, and then building that into the BOXPLAN calculations. Probably require ~300 lines of script.
So far, no one seems to have tried that yet, so AI wouldn't have much to go on.
