The Boss was not happy with any cover the Manfred Mann did of his and personally I don't blame him. Were there three from the Boss' Greetings album that Manfred basically ruined?

The guys at the back playing the instruments very much remind me of the lasses in Robert Palmer's Addicted to Love, just reversing the genders. Wonder if that was by design?
