But not better for your mouth. 🙁Put it in your mouth, under the upper lip.
Gives you some nicotine but is better for your lungs.
I won't post any pics of people with oral cancer, cause it ain't pretty.

Being a heavy smoker in the past I stopped abruptly 1999 smoking. At that time I had smoked enough for a lifetime and so retired. Never ever since then I did a single pull on a cigarette.
Nowdays tobac smells real bad, has not been always that way. Also, since americans iñvented a way to process tobacco to make it much more addictive it is much more difficult to quit once you are hooked!
It's the nicotine and it doesnt matter how you inject it; smoke, vapor, or saliva. One of the most toxic substances. Unsurprising it kicks off a cancer, wherever it touches.
My colleagues father passed and he had to take some time off over it; had to clean out the house. Found a bottle of concentrated nicotine - with skulls and crossbones on the label - in the garage. (Apparently effective against insects as a diluted spray). Label clearly stated "Death will occur in 5 minutes if this product comes in skin contact".
He called the local state government hazardous waste agency. "My father passed, I'm cleaning out his house; what do I do with this?" Answer: "Just roll it up in some newspaper and put it out with the garbage". Dont ever touch what comes out of a garbage truck - who knows what could be in there.

I always liked to get a free seat in the smokers area when the train was full. Some years ago now.
I quit cigarettes July 4, 2000 because I got a "No smoking" job. The job lasted a year but the not smoking is still going. HOWEVER.... When the Dr. tells me I have something terminal I am starting again. I tried the new legal pot after 30 years off but it is WAY too strong for me.
From what I've read the preferred injection method for that these days is like AI is now compared to 30 years ago. You dont even incinerate it anymore. You distill it using controlled temperature heated air; it gives off its gas and when it turns from green to brown, it's done and you just throw that part away. Consumption isnt even by "smoking" anymore; more akin to "vaping". For the curious, they say the heated air method doesnt work for tobacco -I tried the new legal pot after 30 years off but it is WAY too strong for me.
Fast Eddie - Disco Pete asked you a question - you didn't answer him.

When I was living in Rotterdam I got blacklisted by construction companies in that city because I had chased a racist/fascist foreman through a ghetto (lots of ghettos in Rotterdam at that time, probably still are) I still smoked at that time and he didn't, so he got away. After that I had to do uitzendbureau work. A Scottish guy came to work at this particular place and one lunchtime he came over "I thought you were Dutch but your grammar isn't good" (quite true). He had learned Dutch listening to a teach yourself programme on radio Hilversum. He was about 27 and had come over with his very young wife (17) and their young baby.
The next Saturday I was going through the Saturday straatmarkt with my friend Jon, we were as close as real brothers and I saw this Scots guy with his attractive young wife and child and a Dutch guy that I thought was a junkie (they become very easy to spot). When he saw Jon he became nervous. Jon knew Rotterdam like I knew my home town, he was streetwise. He told me to warn the Scots guy that his friend was indeed a junkie. The next Monday I did just that. He had the same attitude as Fast Eddie, said he was a nice guy and had helped him and his wife a lot.
Just over a week later one of the young Brits said to me had I heard, this Scots guy had felt ill one day so went home early. As he opened the front door (they were actually living in the junkies home) the junkie jumped out of the bedroom window why - the young wife was lying naked on the junkies bed with a 'spike' (the junkies word for a hypodermic needle) sticking in her arm. He found another place to live but within a few days the junkie found out where and the young wife and baby ran away with him.
I had warned him that he should immediately leave for Scotland and far away from any junkies, preferably deep in the Highlands, nowadays junkies are everywhere - he hadn't listened. The junkie now had a fresh young woman to put to work as a prostitute, so he could lead an easy life with plenty of smack guaranteed. The baby would probably end up dead and the young woman well the junkie could earn more from her if he put her to work in sex clubs which catered for all kinds of perversions. In life when someone who knows what the craic is 'marks your card' you should listen. I think mountainman bob knows what I mean.
Most girls/women who become junkies do so via a male junkie.

I smoked few times in my youth and felt I didn't like it... Anyhow I was approced by a school boy when i was waking home from college and he asked to go in the shop for him (yes I know I shouldn't have) anyway he gave me one and I sat at the train station waiting for my train and I actually enjoyed smoking it... i got a big surge of dopamine at the back of my head... And ever since then I was hooked... I just love the head rush and the dopamine rush.. .it's sheer bliss and when a stressful situation occurres or when i'm stressed at work... it feels great too ..Also alcohol makes you want to smokeI am 56 old and i was smoking for decades. it is the ealy bad habit and serious addiction. For some Years I changed from packed cigarettes to rolling tobacco. And it was significant decrease of peaces. I think double. But manufacturers are actually but so small quantities of ral tobacco leaves in the cigarettes. And this tobacco for rolling too. Thera are much more colored cardboard, paper or something? It could be seen naked eye...
So that addiction is not coming from the nicotine because there are not many real tobacco in.
And nicotine is "only" poison. Other things are much more dangerous in industrial cigarettes. there are about 400 substaces in cigarettes. Most of them are very poisones, dangerous... The on of the worst thing is that when We light the cigarette, or take a smoke, in that moment the temperature is about the 700deg. Some substances are triggered to emission of alpha radiation. That radiation directly going into the troath and respiratory system... 🙁
.Second, the tar is huge problem that with combination of constant small particle radiation initiate the cancer...
Another BIG issue is carbon oxides. It is tremendous amount of saturation level in organism. A friend, smoker ho want to quit by hospital program regularly measure CO. And this is why we constantly tired. Also significantly more depressed... COs and tar is common for any type of smoking.
Also the type of the cigarettes are causing different outcomes. One with filter preventing Oxygen and there are more risk for heart attack and stroke, other without filter are letting more oxygen but also more tar. Anyway when we talked about the tar the filters are not doing much. Some research find that filter should be long 1.4m...
Anyway people who don't smoke don't believe smokers how scary the addiction is oftenly make a fun of it...
My wife was 2 times quit smoking, with idea to finish for good. That was whan she was pregnant and miking period of more than year, about less that 2 years booth times. And always she quickly after, back in for cigarettes. 🙁
One strange story illustrating the level of addiction told me one russinagy former military diver, who oftenly fixing thigs uderwater in that big suite. He simply have to smoke one cigarette IN that helmet... 🙁 But he quit. Also told me that some doctor say that smoker should not be in close contact with child for 20min after the cigarette and vape. Some dangerous particles are still in the breath.
The real, untreated with pesticides, natural tobacco leaves are different story and they are significantly less health dangerous. But of course still very dangerous. It is very hard to obtain these type of tobacco for rolling because of the very strict law restriction. It is illegal to sell tobacco free in all countries. Still some coud obtain that tobaco and it is very different from industrial one. Usually have longer fibers, it looks like golden ochre, and taste is good. But nicotine, tar, COs, lack of Oxygen, are still present. 🙁
I have been a heavy smoker who stopped smoking abruptly 1999 during a flu.
This has been the second attempt to end this habit, and I had learned meanwhile that there is no way
for moderate nicotine consumption in my case - either rolling one package of tobacco a day - or nothing.
Since that day I never smoked the tiniest breeze, and will not do ever cause I am sure to fall back again.
It was not too easy to get off tobacco during the first weeks, but meanwhile I have "forgotten" smoking.
Btw the doctor said that any traces of that time have vanished from my loungs which might give hope to the yet smokers.

I loved smoking. I dabbled when I was a preteen and by the age of 16 was hooked. 7 to 10 packs a week until I was 30 years old. Then I quit for 8 years and slowed my alcohol consumption and lost a lot of weight.
Then I started drinking heavy and smoking and doing cocaine. Some kind of midlife crisis. This time I doubled down. I was smoking two packs of Marlboro, Camel Filter or Natives every day. It was madness. I managed to work right through all of it and maintain a 'normal' life.
Then I dropped the speed and cocaine and the pills. I switched to vaping. Got pneumonia real bad and switched back to tobacco. Smoking like a chimney and a few years more and I got pneumonia again. I became very ill and near death. I could not drink or smoke with severe illness and after a few weeks I recovered. I went back to work but I had lost all of my strength. It was sapped out of me. In the end the pneumonia lasted a month.
Then I quit drinking and was done with all of it. No more nothing.
I have severe scars in the bottom of my lungs that are permanent. They will never go away. I have a form of COPD accompanying the lung damage. I now have high blood pressure and there is something wrong with one side of my heart. The docs are going to inject me with dye and scan my chest again in a few weeks. The last time I had that scan, they slapped me on the back and told me to stay off the booze & smokes and I will survive. Despite it all, they said I was in good shape. Now I got to lose weight. Always something...damn.
I think smoking is disgusting and very dirty. I hated the smell. I could never smoke in my home. I would smoke in a car with the window down. I hated butts and ashtrays. I loved the addiction. It was such a simple mechanical chemical device and the effect was grand. If I could smoke, I would continue to do so. I loved speed and cocaine. I think I would do that stuff to if I could get away with it. But that is impossible.
One of my older brothers is ill and his life is not looking good. He picked up smoking again because he's like to hell with it. He's drinking again too. I know it. The family is like, let him have his fun because his life expectancy is limited due to his other issues. His stomach organs are all failing. He lives on a wild cocktail of exotic drugs. I talked to him about smoking and he loves it. He quotes that old Dennis Leary bit.
Smoking is terrible in most regards. It is an ancient practice/habit. Smoking is dirty. Smoking is not cool. Smoking is bad for your health.
You can smoke all you want. It does not bother me. I am fascinated by it and I stare and wonder as those clouds billow around your heads. On my death bed I would probably want a cigar and a smoke and a joint.

I've been smoking pipe for 10-15 years now, when I was twenty-thirty I smoked cigarettes but I think it's more pleasant (and maybe less harmful). Oftentimes I go outdoor with the pipe in my pocket too.Is there anybody here that smoke pipe?
Smoking pipe is more like a hobby.
Chosing the tobacco, stuffing the pipe and cleaning the pipe.
My mom cured me of smoking by doing so in the car with the windows rolled up. I was never going to start that - after nearly choking to death in it just going 2 miles to the grocery store.
Had friends that smoked, but always had the courtesy to do it outside. There was never any peer pressure to get me to do it because we were NOT the cool kids, and as such, could do whatever the F we wanted.

Smoking is the Red Indians revenge on their conquerors...tobacco was not known to white people before the discovery of North America.
It has killed many more people than the number of Red Indians killed by the white conquerors.
Response to tobacco varies, but in sum it is a toxic carcinogenic material.
