Infineon MA12070 Class D

He, he. At leases they can be hand wired. I would like to see a hand wired GAN amp
lol, one deep breath and they're gone 😀

Thank you!
Not necesserily for multichannel but I built it for experiment to replace TI BTL driver ICs in my D-class amd with GAN output stage.
(posted it here: https://www.diyaudio.com/community/...-dsp-bluetooth-aux.376006/page-2#post-7720371)

The module has 2 channels for differential PWM signal input (i.e. 1 BTL audio output), driver - PA29102 (now obsolete) and EPC2016C FETs, 4 layer board.
The schematic is attached.

I've tested it but did not perform any measurements yet.

A DC servo serves to adjust outputs of opamps with symmetric PSU to 0.00V DC regardless of temperature and/or component differences. A very good industrial opamp is adjusted/produced with a very low DC offset documented in the datasheet. DC offset is nasty in DC coupled devices as it will be amplified. Audio branded discrete opamps can certainly not be made that well (among other specifications) so a DC servo is then a necessity. An exception and not a feature or a quality item.

Connecting them DC coupled to an IC that always has an incorrectable 2.5V DC offset itself will make the servos of the opamps wanting to correct that to 0V. In other words: they’ll go crazy.

So one better not uses opamps with DC servos in such situations as they may produce a blacker than black background permanently.

MA5332MS typically has 0V DC offset +/-18 mV.

Using MKS is better than having blown MA12070. They simply sound good/neutral contrary to “for audio” made stuff. They also sound way better than the ceramic caps on such boards. They are relatively small so all in all they are a worthwhile improvement for only a few Euro. Alltogether many would call them quality parts.

They also don’t need any advertising as they prove themselves. Some brands produce stuff to retrofit for believers. Such products need advertising.
